Jakarta Regional Research Council (DRD), requested the socialization of anti-diphtheria immunization must be more intensified. Considering there are still many people who do not know the importance of it.

This anti diphtheria immunization campaign should be maximized again

Jakarta DPD's People's Welfare Section under Commission III Member, Charles Suryadi assessed, its socialization is not yet maximal. In the field, there are still some people who do not know the dangers of diphtheria disease.

"This anti diphtheria immunization campaign should be maximized again. There are still many who do not know yet," he expressed, at DPD office, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Thursday (1/11). 

According to him, it is not only focused through mass media, but also social media, posters and so forth, including socialization at health facilities.

"Not only the mass media, social media is also needed.That is what should be more massive again. Posters must also be propagated again," he told.

He also suggested the socialization to involve the private sector. Thus it is not only done in health facilities owned by the government, but also private.

"So the target for people who will be immunized can be achieved. So they must know the importance of this anti-diphtheria immunization," he said.
